THE festival office is delighted to announce this year’s winner of the Frome Festival Treasure Hunt as being ‘The Tucker family’.
Mr & Mrs Tucker and their two children with partners, Ian Tucker and Susan Harries, Jeremy Tucker and Victoria Hocking jointly answered the questions and are sharing the prize of a £300 voucher from Annette Gabbedey Designer Goldsmiths on Catherine Hill.
This year’s quizmaster Paul Hewitt said, “Thank you to all for taking part with varying degrees of success. It appears that we had a good increase in numbers of sheets returned, and are delighted to have raised in the region of £560 for the festival fund, with all monies going to the festival.
“It was interesting from my point of view to see which ones got the lowest numbers of right answers, the two that caused the most problems to you all was the last one and No 27.
“We had joint winners this year so The Tucker family were the lucky ones to be pulled from the hat! Congratulations to you all.
“My thanks must also go to Annette who has provided this magnificent prize, David Chedgy for the photographs, Frome Printing for the quiz sheets and Jade from Blackink Communications for the artwork. A wonderful collaboration of generosity from so many local businesses, thank you!
“Annette, David and I look forward to organising next year’s treasure hunt!”
