International wrestling stars arrive in Frome

Following a sold out event at the Cheese & Grain back in February, the  stars from CSF Professional Wrestling are ready to slam their way back to Frome on Sunday 25th May.

The event titled ‘Sunday Night Showdown’ will see two household international stars compete. WWE superstar ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters will be live in action as will Ring of Honor and MTV Lucha Libre competitor R.J Brewer.

Chris Masters has fought all over the word and wrestled several times on the flag ship WWE events WrestleMania and Summer Slam. He has faced the very best athletes in the sport such as Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, John Cena and Triple H. He is well known for being ‘The Masterpiece’    and for using his finishing hold the Masterlock.

Brewer is a former R.O.H Pure Champion and the reigning MTV Lucha Libre Champion facing such competition as A.J Styles, Doug Williams and the star studded roster at Lucha Libre USA.

Other names appearing include Reece Taylor, James Baker, Odyssey, Team H8, Kay Jutler and Zack Garrett.

Event management said, “Both American stars will join CSF on our next visit to Frome. It’s our way of saying thank you to our great fans for supporting us over the years.

“We have held over 20 wrestling events here, but 25th May will be the biggest event by far. We announced this event in February and sold 70 tickets in the first week alone. The Cheese and Grain is a fantastic venue and we are looking forward to May.”

Doors on 25th May open at 5.30pm with showtime at 6.00pm. The event will finish at 8.30pm and is suitable for all the family, no age restrictions.

Tickets are priced at just £10 each / Group of four £35. Tickets are available from the Cheese and Grain in person or on 01373 455420. Tickets are available on-line at: www.csfwrestling.co.uk

Following the event there will be an opportunity to meet all the wrestlers appearing, including Masters and Brewer, so bring your cameras and collect all their autographs.
