After representing his country in Holland 2014 for the World BMX Championships, Frome College student Finlay Mead was honoured to be asked to ride for one of England’s top BMX teams ‘Stay Strong’.

Determined to do his new team proud he has started this year with a bang, taking a lot of limelight on the BMX track for his fantastic riding and jumping skills.

The 14 year old is a true role model and inspiration to the younger generation, teaching them new tricks with an excellent attitude towards his fellow riders.

Finlay is currently ranked 4th in the UK for his age group after six rounds at the National Series. He recently took two fantastic 3rd place finishes in Scotland so hopes to be on the podium by the end of the year.

He represents the South region where he is currently ranked No. 1 and rides for the South Talent Team.

Finlay also looks forward to competing in the British Championships in Manchester at the end of the season not only on his 20″ Stay Strong BMX but he will also ride a Curtis Cruiser. He is hoping to take home two podium trophies at this event.

Finlay is very honoured to be selected again to represent his country in the World Championships 2015 in Belgium. He trains hard to compete for a world plate and trophy and is looking forward to showing his skills off in front of the world’s top riders.
