Advice sessions for Frome business owners

Business owners in Frome could learn a thing or two, as an advice workshop and business breakfast are set to take place next week.

On Thursday 26th November there will be a free Small Business Support Day run by Frome Chamber of Commerce at the Assembly Rooms on Christchurch Street West.

The following day, Friday 27th November, Somerset Enterprise Centres will be hosting a business breakfast at The Old Church School on Butts Hill.

The support day will run from 10am to 3pm on Thursday, and will have experts on hand to give new and established local businesses advice on finance, law, marketing, IT services and recruitment. There will also be free seminars on  topics such as social media, writing business plans, presentation skills, book-keeping, and employment law.

Chamber of Commerce president Nigel Harris said, “We’re very pleased to be able to offer another event to help local people set up and manage their own business.

“The Chamber’s mission is to make Frome a thriving place to do business, so we hope the day will benefit both people who have a start-up idea, as well as new and established businesses which need advice on how to move their business forward.”
