Easter Food Tasting and Pop Up Market at the Frome Food Assembly

The next local food tasting Eggsstravaganza (excuse the pun) will be on Wednesday 21st March, 5.30-7.30pm at the Steiner School main hall.

Frome’s farmers and growers will be sampling their local produce in time for Easter, and many items will be available to buy on the night.

Two new producers have joined the Frome Food Assembly in recent weeks. Glastonbury Ferments is a maker of Kombucha, Kimchi, Sauerkraut, and a range of other fermented foods which are beneficial for your gut health. Girls Who Grind Coffee are an all-female small batch coffee roastery sourcing coffees from female producers and those who work to support them.

Co-host Pia McGee says, “We hope everyone will be inspired to come along, meet the local farmers and growers who would love to feed them, and enjoy a glass of wine, whilst trying delicious, seasonal and sustainable local food.”
