Frome Musical Theatre Company set sail for Titanic!

Frome Musical Theatre Company presents ‘Titanic the musical’ from Tuesday 8th-Saturday 12th May at the Frome Memorial Theatre. 

Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, ‘Titanic the musical’ is a stunning and stirring production focusing on the hopes and dreams of her passengers and their fateful journey to America on April 10th 1912.

With an incredibly moving musical score and beautiful period costumes, sit back and experience a truly unique piece of musical theatre.

Over 70 people came along to the pre-audition rehearsals with just over 40 being cast as crew, 1st, 2nd and 3rd class passengers. The main principle line up is as follows: Thomas Andrews – Grant McCotter, Bruce Ismay – David Hynds, Captain Smith – Kevin Withers, 1st Officer Murdoch – Steve Waterfield, 2nd Officer Lightoller – Darren Golay, Harold Bride – George Tucker, Frederick Barrett – Ross Turnbull, Frederick Fleet – Jamie House, Henry Etches – Chris Murray, Bellboy – George Langley, Isidor Strauss – Humphrey Barnes, Ida Strauss – Tracey Rawlins, Alice Beane – Nicole Wooldridge, Edgar Beane – Matt Dawkins, Charles Clark – Ed Henderson, Caroline Neville – Tabitha Cox, Jim Farrell – Dave Merritt, Kate McGowan – Lydia Marsh, Kate Mullins – Cordelia Tarbrook, Kate Murphey – Daisy Mercedes, Bandmaster Wallace Hartley – Patrick Withey, Bandsman Taylor – George Plant, Bandsman Bricous – James Catley.

Tickets are on sale from the theatre box office open 9.30am – 1pm Monday to Saturday, call 01373 462795 or book online at www. fromememorialtheatre.org.uk; adults £16, conc. £14, party booking £13 (bookings of ten or more people). The show runs from Tuesday 8th – Saturday 12th May at 7.30pm with a matinee also on Saturday 12th at 2.30pm.
