On Monday 7th May, Frome Town Council has organised lots of fun and games at ‘Mayhem in the Meadow’. This free family- friendly event, from 11am to 2pm in Rodden Meadow will have nature-themed activities, crafts, singing and silly games. Yummy food and drink will be on offer from Fair Frome’s Wrap and Roll community dining.

Sports Festival organiser Sue Willis said, “This week of free tasters is a great way to get off the sofa and try a new sport! There are lots of different activities on offer, with something for all ages and abilities. It’s also a great opportunity for Frome’s sports clubs to show what they have on offer. If you want something a little less active but just as fun, try Mayhem – it’s a relaxed day of silliness in a wonderful setting.”

Councillor Gary Collinson says he is ‘really looking forward to Sports Fest. “It has become an annual feature of the Frome Diary and rightly so,” he said. “We will be doing walking football and tug-of -war again in the Meadow, so any teams interested in taking part should get in touch.”
