Artbox talent on display at medical practice

VISITORS to Frome Medical Practice can enjoy Artbox Frome’s latest exhibition from its members.

Artbox Frome is a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to create, exhibit and sell their art. The charity runs weekly studio sessions.

Jessica Silver, the organiser of Artbox Frome said,  “We are all very excited and proud at the latest work of the artists now on display at the Frome Medical Practice.

“It is a real privilege being asked to show the work in such a wonderful and modern building. The variety of work being shown demonstrates the range of style and creative talent at Artbox. We hope patients and visitors will enjoy the display.”

Dr Tina Merry, GP at Frome Medical Practice said, “Since the new health centre building opened, we have always been keen to see the wall space being made available for local artists.

“We are delighted to have Artbox Frome display the excellent work of their students at the practice. We are now planning ahead for future exhibitions.”

You don’t have to be visiting the doctor to see what Artbox Frome is up to. On the 8th July the work of the Artbox artists will be on display at the Art Car Boot, taking place at the Old Cattle Market Car Park in Frome.
