Business wants to hear your views on new cidery plans

A FAMILY cider business, Lilley’s Cider, is holding a public consultation to hear people’s views on their plans to transform 40 acres of land into a new cidery, shop and cafe.
At the beginning of this year, father and son Chris and Marc Lilley, bought 40 acres of land between Packsaddle Way and Cuckoo Lane, with the hope of transforming it into their new cidery, shop, cafe and two eco houses.
They have already planted 1,200 apples and pear trees on the site and have been putting together the plans. They are now at the point where they are ready to submit their plans for outline planning permission. However, they would like to invite all interested parties to a public consultation at their new farm between Packsaddle Way and Cuckoo Lane, on Tuesday 7th August between 3pm and 7pm. Visitors will be able to view the plans and give their feedback. Both Chris and Mark will be on hand to answer your questions. Access to the site will be by foot and there will be a small marquee at the top of the farm. Light refreshments will be available.
They said, “We look forward to meeting you and discussing our vision for the farm and hearing what your thoughts are.”
