The Artisan

Story posted on

THE Artisan in Frome is under new management, looking to transform the pub into a family-friendly venue for all occasions.

After re-opening in August this year, new manager Dorothy Paweda is determined to have something for everyone with new menu’s, weekend entertainment and Christmas events.

Alongside new head chef, Tommy Berryman, brand new menu’s have been introduced, homemade with local produce, catering for vegans, vegetarians and offering gluten free options.

They also offer a traditional Sunday roast on Sundays from 12pm-4pm which also caters for those with food intolerances.

Since it’s re-opening, the pub has become increasingly busy due to their wide selection of food and drink. The bar caters for all, with a wide variety of cocktails on offer, two for £9, an array of gin and mixer choices and also guest ales that change weekly.

The children are also catered for with a special childrens area with toys and books to keep them entertained, which has plans for expansion next year. Also, the pub’s outside barn has plans to undergo a conversion into a soft play area. Dogs are also welcome into the bar area, where you can also sit to eat.

In the evenings, there will be entertainment every weekend, Friday or Saturday, including DJs, 80s nights, motown evenings and live bands.

A special event for Christmas will include The Artisan’s own Santa’s grotto! Children will get to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift for just £5. There will also be a post box available so they can write letters to post to Santa. The grotto will be open from Saturday 1st December, every Wednesday from 4-7pm and Saturday 12-6pm running up until Christmas.
