Chitty Chitty Bang Bang flies in to Frome in May!

Frome Musical Theatre Company will be performing the sensational Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Frome Memorial Theatre from Tuesday 7th – Sunday 12th May. 

Based on the beloved 1968 film, Ian Fleming’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find “Truly Scrumptious.”

Including a fabulous set, clever effects, energetic dance routines and a wonderful score with memorable musical numbers Toot Sweets Hushabye Mountain, Me Ol’ Bamboo and its Oscar-nominated title song Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, you don’t want to miss out on tickets for this musical.

With a cast of 32 adults and 28 children including two sets of Jeremy and Jemmas and an ensemble, the cast are busy rehearsing for the production, creating wonderful dance routines and bringing the much-loved characters to life ready for the stage.

On Saturday 23rd March the company is having a promotional day at the Frome Memorial Theatre, kindly sponsored by Clarksons Independent Funeral Care Ltd. Come and meet the famous, magical Chitty car and some of the cast from 12-2.30pm. 

Tickets are on sale from the Frome Memorial Theatre box office open 9.30am – 1pm Monday to Saturday, call 01373 462795 or book online at www.fmt.website. Tickets: Adults £17, U16 and OAP £15, party booking £14 (bookings of ten or more people). Family ticket £60 (4 tickets no more than 2 adults.) The show runs from Tuesday 7th – Saturday 11th May at 7pm and matinees at 2pm on Saturday 11th  and Sunday 12th May.
