Keeper Evans joins the Robins on short-term loan!

Frome Town have signed goalkeeper Max Evans on a short-term loan from National League side Yeovil Town.

The ex-Oxford United academy ‘keeper has been with the Huish Park outfit since his release from the U’s in the summer. He made his Robins debut against Bideford, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win at The Sports Ground.

Evans is “looking forward” to getting some game time whilst at The Robins’ Nest as he helps the club up the Southern League Division One South table.

He said: “I’m looking forward to playing some more games. It was a good win yesterday and a good taste of men’s football. Hopefully we can keep winning games and keep going higher up the table.”

The club would like to thank Darren Sarll, Terry Skiverton and all at Yeovil Town for their assistance.
