Issue 292 – Who deserves to be Frome’s person of the year 2009?

The Frome Times is launching a ‘Person of the Year’ competition and now is your chance to have your say on who you think should be crowned Frome’s ‘Person of the Year’ for 2009.

Frome has many individuals who work hard throughout the year to help other people, improve their town, and raise money for charity. Perhaps your nominee has shown outstanding acts of bravery, or offered voluntary services which have benefitted the local community?
People are being asked to put forward their Person of the Year 2009 nominations, the only condition being that the person is from Frome or one of the surrounding villages or works in the town.
Ian Drew, editor of the Frome Times said, “This is a chance to nominate someone who deserves recognition for their outstanding actions over the past year or who has had the biggest impact on life in the town.”
Nominations can be made by filling out the form on Page 17 of this week’s paper and returning it to the Frome Times office at 31 Market Place, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6ES. Alternatively, your can email frometimes@ stating your name, address and contact number with your nominee’s name and why you are nominating them. (We won’t disclose who has made the nominations).
