Issue 303 – RAOB support for MS Therapy Centre

The Buffs, or to give them their proper title, The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, in the form of a party of the Frome & Warminster Provincial Grand Lodge dignitaries, visited the Wessex MS Therapy Centre and presented a cheque in support of the centre’s activities.

Last year’s chief officer of the order, Provincial Grand Primo John Millar, said he was delighted to be able to hand over the cheque to the centre which provides vital support to MS sufferers without any public funding. He congratulated the achievements of the centre and hopes they will continue for very many years.
The current Provincial Grand Primo, Mike Storey, said this year his chosen charity is Talking2Minds, a charity dedicated to the treatment of those suffering post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As Mike says, “It is a disorder that requires treatment, it destroys the lives of the sufferers and all too often their families as well.
“The charity is not well known and is poorly supported and I hope we can in a small way help to change that.”
