FROME Amateur Operatic Society’s Spellbound group has put on ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ a musical based on the story by Jules Verne.
The exciting shows took place at the Memorial Theatre and followed the adventures of Phileas Fogg and his servant, Passepartout on an 80-day adventure around the globe, all to satisfy a bet.
Dominic Weston starred as Phileas Fogg with Ben Hardy-Phillips as Jean Passepartout, Matt Blake as Captain James Fix, Callum Close as Elder William Hitch, Flora McLaren as Princess Aouda, Jasmine Shillabeer as Katy O’Flatherty, Lily Morrison as Miss Patricia Fotherington and Emma Upshall as Mrs Chang.
