FROME Youth Choir is one of Somerset’s finest community based youth choirs, offering young local singers (aged six-18) exceptional training and performance experience.
The choir has a long history in Frome and was formed in 1984. It is currently led by artistic directors Alicia Little and Nikki Hewson.
The Christmas concert is the highlight in the choir’s calendar and this year will take place on Saturday 15th December at Trinity Church.
The choir will be joined by acclaimed percussionist Jeremy Little. Jeremy studied percussion with Diggory Seacome, Jayne Obradovic, Graham Johns and Michael Skinner. He now plays with the Bristol Ensemble and many others including Welsh National Opera, The London Gala Orchestra, English National Ballet, Bath Philharmonia and the Brunel Ensemble. He also regularly records for film and television.
Come and join the choir and guests for what promises to be an exceptional festive evening on Saturday 15th December 5.00-6.00pm, Trinity Church, Frome. Tickets on the door £5, ‘under 16s’ free. Price includes mulled wine and mince pies.
