POSITIVE Action on Cancer hosted a fundraising dinner at the Archangel on Monday 3rd June with special guest Kevin McCloud.
The event raised just over £1,000 and included a talk by Kevin on his recent TV series, ‘Kevin McCloud’s Man Made Home’. Funds raised will support PAC’s professional counselling service for adults and children affected by cancer in the local area.
Kelly Lewis, fundraising assistant at PAC said, “We would like to thank everyone that supported this event. We had a fantastic evening and really enjoyed Kevin’s talk.”
PAC is currently the only organisation to offer free, professional counselling to any adults or children affected or bereaved by cancer and other life threatening illnesses in BANES, Somerset and West Wilts.
