The stars of CSF Wrestling rock Frome!

STARTS from CSF Professional Wrestling arrived in town last week as once again, the Cheese and Grain hosted another action-packed evening of professional wrestling action. With a sell-out crowd, the organisers have vowed to bring, in May, the best wrestling event  ever held at the Cheese and Grain as a thank you to its loyal fans.

The event on Saturday 15th February entitled ‘Saturday Night Slam!’ saw a sell-out crowd witness five bone crunching bouts.

In the opening match Kay Jutler defeated Zack Garret and in Tag Team action, Team H8 beat Big Grizzly and Scotty Essex.

Nathan Bane retained the All Nations Championship over Odyssey and in the main event, TNA Impact and international star Doug Williams pinned Dave Mercy.

Doug Williams is former X-Division Champion, ROH Pure Champion, IWGP World Tag Team Champion and multiple time TNA World Tag Team Champion along with team mate and World Champion, Magnus. This was his first appearance in Frome since joining the TNA roster and fans flocked to see him in live as he joined the CSF team again. Doug has wrestled for CSF since 1999.

Now, event management have announced another two huge international names when the Federation return on Sunday 25th May for ‘Battle For The Belt 2014’.

Firstly, WWE superstar ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters has been signed to compete in what will be the biggest professional wrestling event to take place in the area since CSF first arrived in town in 2008.

Masters is a household name and has fought the very best athletes in the world such as Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, John Cena and Triple H. The second name set to appear is the MTV Lucha Libre USA Champion and former ROH Pure Champion and TNA star,  RJ Brewer.

Event management stated, “Both American stars will join CSF on our next visit to Frome. It’s our way of saying thank you to our great fans for supporting us over the years.

“We have held over 20 wrestling events here, but May 25th will be the biggest event by far. We announced this event on Monday and sold 70 tickets on the first day alone. The Cheese and Grain is a fantastic venue and we look forward to May.”

Doors on May 25th open at 5.30pm with showtime at 6.00pm. The event will finish at 8.30pm and is suitable for all the family, no age restrictions.
