TO celebrate Real Nappy Week, a new cloth nappy library is being planned for Frome to help parents find the best option for their child.
Using real nappies can save upwards of £500 per child or more if you use your nappies on a second child or buy preloved nappies. Real nappies also save 4000 nappies from going to landfill for each baby every year, and reduce associated carbon emissions by 40%. There are lots of different types, materials and styles now too, such as ultra-soft bamboo; so the nappy library is the perfect way to find which type works best for your child.
The real nappy group are meeting at the Cheese and Grain Cafe at 11am on Friday 25th April so do pop by if you’d like to get involved.
