Critchill School Learn to Lead Gold Award

Critchill School have become the first school in the UK for students with special educational needs to achieve ‘Learn to Lead Gold Award’ Status.

Learn to Lead is a whole school initiative where pupils self-elect into teams of their choice. It gives students the opportunity to grow in confidence and self-esteem whilst taking ownership of what happens in their school. The school has seven teams currently running,  including film, dance, gardening and uniform.

The school celebrated with a garden party where Michael Eavis presented the Gold Award with the co-founder and executive director of Learn to Lead, Susan Piers-Mantell.
