FORMER England cricket star Marcus Trescothick and his Somerset Cricket Club teammates stopped in Frome during a charity cycle to visit a local school.

The first-class cricket club made a trip to Frome College part of their charity cycle challenge ‘Pedal for the Pavilion’ as they attempt to raise enough money to build a new pavilion.

Whilst at Frome College they were provided with lunch before Marcus Trescothick gave a cricket coaching lesson to 25 children from the school.

Jane Davis from Frome College said, “It was a great event and the children enjoyed a good 45-minute coaching session.”
