Appeal for witnesses to an assault in Frome

Avon and Somerset Constabulary are appealing for the public’s help following an assault in Frome.

The incident happened on Catherine Street at the junction with the High Street near to the Sun Inn at around 10.25pm on Monday 6th April.

Five people were involved in a disturbance and one was injured and taken to hospital. A 19-year-old man has been arrested, pending further enquiries.

Avon and Somerset Police would like anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which may be of assistance to contact them.
