Open Day at Memorial Theatre

THE Memorial Theatre is to hold an Open Day latet this month and welcomes visits from people interested in becoming a volunteer or who just want to have a look around behind the scenes.

“In 2010 and 2013 the Memorial Theatre held very successful Open Days to attract new volunteers so we thought it was about time we held another one!,” said Dawn Phillimore, marketing & promotions manager at the Memorial.

“Due to our continuing success as an entertainment venue in the heart of Frome we are holding another Open Day on Saturday 30th May between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

“We now require a number of additional new volunteers who have an interest in live performance and music to help in various departments.  We would be delighted to hear from anyone who would be interested in volunteering and would like more information on the volunteer job roles.

“The theatre can offer you training opportunities, additional skills for your CV and a chance to meet new people and have fun.

“Anyone with a general interest who wants to have a look around is also very welcome to join us for a behind the scenes tour of the theatre, and to have a chat with our existing volunteers and the Theatre’s Trustees about their roles.
