Later…with Frome College

Frome College held their annual summer music extravaganza -‘Later… with Frome College’ on Tuesday 14th July at the Cheese and Grain.

The concert featured many impressive acts from the College across all the year groups. Even the staff band joined in with their version of ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘I Will Survive’!

The talent was outstanding and all of the acts performed brilliantly, some even wrote their own songs. The acts and musicians were amazing and thrilled the audience all evening.

There were three different stages, one main stage, on which ensemble acts like the Frome College Choir and the Jazz Band performed.  The second stage for the bands saw acts such as ‘Purple Car’ and ‘Covailant’, and the acoustic stage opposite let stars such as Sadie Daykin and Charlotte Moore in Year 9, and ‘Seasons’, Bertie Harrison-Broninski and Fin Scholefield in Year 12.

Rhiannon James, a Year 9 student at the College said, “The atmosphere was great and everyone was having a really good time.”

It was a friendly evening with the community, students, parents and teachers all enjoying the concert.

We all look forward to seeing more talent in next year’s show, the feedback has been outstanding.  Well done to everyone who took part!
