Good quality bric-a-brac needed

Positive Action on Cancer (PAC) are holding a pop-up shop in the Westway precinct from Tuesday 11th August 2015 for two weeks.

PAC are asking for donations of good quality bric-a-brac, clothes, books and baby/children goods. Why not have a good clear out and help to support your local charity.

If you have items to donate please deliver them directly to the pop-up shop in the Westway (next door to the Co-op) or to the PAC office (Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm) Do call 01373 455255 in advance to check there is someone in the office.

Helen Sprawson-White, fundraising assistant at PAC said, “We are currently experiencing an unprecedented demand for our service and we have implemented extra sessions to meet the needs of our community.

“We really value the opportunity the pop-up shop will give us, and really appreciate the support the community gives us, both in donating items and buying goods, to enable us to continue to provide our free counselling service.”

PAC offer free, professional counselling to adults or children affected or bereaved by cancer and other life threatening illnesses in BANES, Somerset and West Wiltshire and receives no government funding.
