Canine Capers for Frome Third Age

FROME Third Age welcomed to their last monthly meeting in the Assembly Rooms Hilary Reed from Training Guide Dogs for the Blind together with Curio, a dog under training. The subject of her talk was Canine Capers! 

They report,”We were given a fascinating insight into how Guide Dogs are bred, selected for training, the training regime and the stringent standards which must be met before they can be given over to a blind person. Hilary also entertained us with some very amusing anecdotes! At the end of the talk Tony Bearman, Chair of Frome Third Age, presented Hilary with a cheque for Training Guide Dogs for the Blind.
