Learners find jobs with administration qualifications

Somerset Skills and Learning learners are now finding jobs in administration with all the skills they gained from their Level 2 and Level 3 certificate in administration courses. 

The learners pictured started their learning journey with Somerset Skills and Learning in November 2013 when they joined the level 2 certificate in administration course.

They learnt a range of skills from using office equipment and being able to produce professional documents, to dealing with customers and producing a CV in preparation for their search for an admin job. The learners all then progressed onto the level 3 course which they achieved in July of this year. Several of the learners are now working in administration jobs.

Student Diane Allen said, “This course has helped me gain valuable skills that I have needed to learn to help me find employment. I have really enjoyed attending the learning centre at Wells. Kay Morgan has encouraged me throughout the course to complete each assignment. I would highly recommended Somerset Skills and Learning to anyone looking to gain new skills”.

There is a level 2 certificate in administration course starting in Wells on 15th October and another starting in Frome on 12th October.
