RENOWNED author and journalist George Monbiot and BBC presenter Simon King will be amongst a number of panelists at a nature conservation discussion at the Westway Cinema in Frome this month.
The event will discuss nature conservation via ‘rewilding’, which focuses on restoring and protecting natural processes and wilderness.
The audience will watch a short film before the panel discusses what rewilding is and how it can be supported, followed by an audience Q and A.
Panelists include Guardian writer and author George Monbiot, Simon King OBE and Frome’s own town councillor and author Peter Macfadyen. Conservationists Paul Lister, Charlie Burrell, Steve Carver, Edward Darling and Colin Tudge will also be taking part in the discussion.
The event will take place at Westway Cinema from 7pm on Thursday 22nd October. It will be held in association with the local Angelfish Films, who will be recording the session and broadcasting it live online.
