Exciting line-up at the Cheese and Grain

THECheese and Grain is gearing up to finish the year with a bang, as three legendary acts are set to perform in the coming weeks.

Walter Trout, The Pretty Things, John Cooper Clarke and The Bay City Rollers are all en route to Frome to bring 2015 to a close.

American blues guitar legend Walter Trout has bounced back from a brush with death last year, and is now on a global tour playing songs from his newest  album Battle Scars. He plays the Cheese and Grain on Wednesday 25th November – tickets are £26.50.

Hit 60s rock ‘n’ roll band The Pretty Things will play on Saturday 28th November – tickets cost £18 in advance or £21 on the door. The band, started in 1962 by former Rolling Stones guitarist Dick Taylor, have released numerous albums and continue to play live and record.

Punk poet John Cooper Clarke will bring his unique performance to the Cheese and Grain on Wednesday 9th December – tickets cost £19. John Cooper Clarke has risen back to fame recently, following a number of TV appearances and worldwide tours. He is renowned for his funny, satirical and biting verse.

The Bay City Rollers will play on Friday 11th December – tickets cost £18.50 in advance or £21.50 on the door. The classic line-up of Les McKeown, Eric Faulkner, Stuart Wood, and Alan and  Derek Longmuir are still known for their energetic performances and talent that has sold 300 million records across the globe. The Scottish pop band formed in the 1960s and continue to tour around the world.
