“Use it or lose it!” says Only Fools comedian

THE owner of Westway Cinema has expressed her delight with John Challis’ recent performance. 

John Challis, best known for playing ‘Boycie’ in Only Fools and Horses, brought his one-man show to Frome’s independent cinema on Sunday 15th November.

Cinema owner Martina O Connor said, “John was the first comedy act we have ever booked and it was like the greatest show on earth. The cinema was referred to as a theatre by John and he made a donation, which was such a kind gesture. He’s a true scholar and gentleman!

“Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a great night.”

John tweeted after the show, “A remarkable night at Westway Cinema! What a treasure of a venue. Use it or lose it.”
