Punk legends Far Cue’s Traditional Xmas knees up @ The Wheatsheaves on Thursday 17th December for FREE!

Thursday’s Alive! are pleased present the local punk band that is Far Cue! These crazy dudes have played gigs all over Frome, Bath and Bristol, and not forgetting Glastonbury festival!

Lark Porter of the Wheatsheaves enthuses, “These guys are renowned for always putting on one hell of a performance! And we’re so excited to be inviting them back to the venue (They were our first live band!) It’s FREE! Merry Christmas Frome! Support TBA. Open from 6.00pm – Live Music from 8.00pm.

Early Doors Club chilled live music @ The Wheatsheaves on Saturday 19th December from 7.30pm.

Early Doors Club showcases musical talent of a pretty chilled out nature, it might be acoustic, it might be electronic, but it will be good and it will be live! You will be seated at tables for a relaxing evening of aural joy and lovely drinks.

Lark added, “This month we welcome Dexters Extra Breakfast with beautiful melodies and stunning songs plus James Paterson and more brilliant live acts. Entry is a mere £3 and you are welcome to stay on for our Saturday evening Motown event for Free which features Charlie Miller and the Soul Agents live band and DJs until late.”

Charlie Miller and The Soul Agents play original soul music and a selection of the very best classic soul and funk hits. This full live band oozes sweetness, grooves hard and makes you want to get up and dance all night.

The band returns on the 19th December to Frome’s Venue @ the Wheatsheaves with DJ’s to keep you grooving til late.
