Mencap looking for local volunteers

NATIONAL learning disability charity Mencap will be hosting a recruitment event at the Key Centre this Friday, 15th January.

The event at the Key Centre on Feltham Lane, to be held from 10am to 2pm, is part of an initiative to recruit support workers across the county.

Spokesperson Sophie Spiteri said, “Come along and join us for an informal chat to find out more about what it takes to become a support worker.

“There will be support workers on hand to discuss what the role involves, along with further information about Mencap.

“There will also be the opportunity to apply for roles and be interviewed on the day.

“If you are interested in applying it would be advisable to bring along two forms of identification and your CV.”
