Fusion Lifestyle, has announced plans for the first stage of the multi-million pound development of Frome Leisure Centre.
The organisation, who took over responsibility for operating the leisure centre last month, have wasted no time in preparing plans to implement the pledged £2million investment.
Fusion has said they are committed to ensuring the developments of the leisure facilities are of a high standard and that there will be a wide range of activities provided for many years to come.
The plans include a large state-of-the-art gym with all new equipment, new pool changing area, a fitness studio, an indoor cycling studio, a soft play area, cafe, new reception area and refurbished dry-side changing rooms. The centre will also be redecorated.

Cllr Philip Ham, portfolio holder for transformation at Mendip District Council said, “These are very exciting times for council leisure facilities throughout the Mendip district, as Fusion embarks on an ambitious multi-million pound investment programme.
“There will be some disruption for leisure users while Fusion undertakes its works programme, but I’m confident that local people will be delighted with the new improvements to their local leisure facilities.”
Work is planned to start in October, with completion expected by the end of the year. Consequently, the centre will be completely closed to the public for 12 weeks.
Fusion are holding a Customer Forum at Frome Leisure Centre on Tuesday 30th June from 5pm to 6pm, where users can hear more about the development plans and put forward their suggestions.
