A combined service of 560 years of caring by staff from across a variety of Somerset Care’s services across the Mendip area, was recently acknowledged in Frome.
The event celebrated the long service of staff including Rowden House, Critchill Court, Fletcher House, Southlawns, Field House, Cary Brook, Carrington House and Somerset Care’s home care teams operating across Frome, Wiltshire and Bath.
Staff with service ranging from five to 30 years were invited to the ceremony, where presentations were made by chairman Angela Dupont, assistant director Andrew Needham and operations managers, Mandy Curran and Sue Harvey. Each long-serving member of staff was personally thanked and acknowledged for their dedication to making a difference to the lives of our customers.
The event was held in a marquee on the grounds of Rowden House and was suitability decorated with a black and gold Hollywood theme. Attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet after the presentations were made, with a mix of savoury and sweet treats.
