FROME Youth Choir will be holding its summer concert at Christ Church tonight – Thursday 14th July – and entry is free!
The concert starts at 7pm and refreshments will be available at the church.
Organiser Brigitte Wye said, “We have recently welcomed several new members so are sounding exceptionally good, and this will be the first concert under the new leadership of our amazing musical directors, Stephanie Collishaw and Jo Richards. The choir is always open to new members and we rehearse every Thursday during term time at Christchurch School from 5.45pm – no audition necessary.”
During the interval, the singers and audience will also decide on a new logo for the choir’s relaunch in September. Designs, which will be on show at the concert, have been created by students at Frome College and the winner will receive an iTunes voucher.
