Frome College students earned standing ovations for their 80s-themed musical at the Merlin Theatre.
The show, ‘Back to the 80s’, ran for four nights at the start of February, and tells the story of the senior class of William Ocean High School, remembered through the eyes of a now 30‑something Corey Palmer.
Frome College Drama Lead, Kayleigh Plomer, said, “We had a fantastic run. Four standing ovations with incredible work from all the students and staff made for a really unforgettable evening.

“We had really brilliant reviews from parents and the local community. We absolutely loved it last night. Well done to all the students and staff on an amazing production, you put on a great show. I loved singing and dancing in my seat. It was such an amazing show, just genius. A huge well done to the whole team, cast and crew.
“We are all really proud of our students; their sense of community and family when they work together is second to none. They have such creative minds; it’s a genuine honour to work with them.”
