Westway retailer, Studio Prints, has collaborated with local graphic designer, Ben Hewitt, to create the Somerset Transport Map.
Ben has plotted local cities, villages and towns onto a fictitious transport map, allowing you to plot your journey from Frome to Taunton via Nunney Catch or head off to Yeovil via Mells and Stoke St Michael.
Mark Prince of Studio Prints explained how the map came about. “We are delighted to have worked with Ben on this project and feel that Ben has created a novel conversation piece. Hopefully this will make a great Christmas gift to those who still live locally and act as a reminder of home to those who have moved away from the area.”
The map is available exclusively through Studio Prints in the Westway Centre, it has been reproduced in A2 format priced at £29.95 for the print only, with framed prices starting at £ 55.
The map was launched at the December Independent Market and enjoyed a great reaction; it will be available through Studio Prints both instore and on their website www.studioprints.co.uk
For all maps sold in December, Studio Prints will be donating 10% from the sales price towards “Frome’s Big Christmas Get Together.”
Frome’s Big Christmas Get Together is a free community festive lunch held at the football club for anyone who is on their own on Christmas Day.
