The next Frome Book Fair will be held this Saturday, 12th May, at the Silk Mill, Merchants Barton, Saxonvale, Frome BA11 1PT from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is £1 (children free). There is lots of parking nearby, and level access. Refreshments will be available all day from Claud the Butler (www.claudthebutler.co.uk)and there are also several cafes in the vicinity.
Discover a vibrant bookfair with 16 exhibitors with hundreds of good quality antiquarian and more modern books for sale in the centre of Frome.
The organisers, Karen Jakobsen, Peter Foster and Thais Brand, select a mix of dealers selling books and ephemera on all types of subjects including art, children’s, travel, photography, natural history, military, English and Irish literature.
This May, attending the fair for the first time are Blueberry Books (www. blueberry-books. co.uk) from Bradford on Avon, owned by Milly Hughes, one of the newest and youngest bookdealers locally.
