The start of the new church year on Advent Sunday is being marked at All Saints, Lullington, with a special service on Sunday 2nd December at 6pm.
The reflective service marks, through the use of music, readings and light, the anticipation of the coming of Christ at Christmas.
“All are welcome to join us for this service in a church which has seen Christian worship since the twelfth century and continues to show the light of Christ in the community.”
The Church of All Saints in Lullington dates back to around 1160 and features a font and carving over the north door from that date.
