WESSEX Counselling and Psychotherapy in Frome is set for some big changes this summer.
Fran Milliner is taking over the important role of office manager ahead of Penny Old’s retirement in July after 25 years’ loyal service to the charity. Fran joins the charity with a wealth of experience, having been a clinical coordinator for four years at We Hear You (WHY) in Frome.
There will also be a new chair of the trustees, as Robert Kelso takes over from Tony Perry, who has been a trustee for many years, as well as a pillar of the Frome community.
Wessex provides counsellor training and weekly counselling in Frome and beyond, is based in the centre of the town and has been a Frome success story for over 40 years. However, more trustees are needed to ensure that the organisation continues to be an important part of Frome’s mental health provision.
