AWARD-WINNING comedian Sofie Hagen will be bringing her new stand-up show to Frome’s Merlin Theatre next weekend
Last year’s Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Newcomer winner, the Danish Sofie Hagen is hitting the UK with her first ever nationwide tour of her hotly anticipated second solo show, Shimmer Shatter. She will be performing at the Merlin Theatre on Sunday 30th October at 7.45pm.
Sofie has proven herself to be one of the strongest acts in the industry today. At last count her ‘The Guilty Feminist’ podcast had over half a million downloads and her four-week run of Bubblewrap went on to perform a sell-out run at London’s Soho Theatre.
She has recently appeared on Live From the BBC (BBC3), The One Show (BBC1), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Now Show (Radio 4) and has performed internationally at festivals from Altitude in Austria to the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
