THE arrival of spring saw the turning on of the fountain at the Boyle Cross in the centre of town.
Lead ranger Jay and ranger Mark organised the proceedings and mayor of Frome cllr Sara Butler, along with cllr Andy Jones and cllr Philip Campagna, turned the fountain on.
“With the arrival of spring, we’ve officially turned the fountain back on and it’s looking amazing,” said Sara. “As agreed by councillors back in December, the Boyle Cross fountain will operate throughout the warm and sunnier months – it’s great to see it back on and the centre of town buzzing.”
The fountain will operate for eight months of the year and will be turned off again in October, to allow for annual maintenance.
