FROME College invite you to their rendition of ‘Chicago’ the musical at the Merlin Theatre from this Thursday, 28th February, to Saturday 2nd March.
Based on the book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse and the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, with script adaptation by David Thompson, the students will perform their ‘high school’ edition of the famous musical.
Roxie Hart has always wanted to be a star but can’t quite seem to catch a break. Things seem poised to change when she is arrested for the murder of her lover. Roxie decides to become the media’s new darling and begins vying for the spotlight, and the attention of their lawyer Billy Flynn, with her idol, nightclub performer and accused double-murderess Velma Kelly.
Following the success of We Will Rock You, Frome College presents this sizzling, high energy show featuring numbers including All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango and Razzle Dazzle! Chicago promises to be the hottest ticket in town!
