FROME Lions Club will be holding their annual summer fete next weekend at Victoria Park.
The fete will run from 12.30pm to 4.00pm on Saturday 13th June, and will have a huge range of activities for all the family.
Frome Lions press officer Daniel Norris said, “All the money raised at the fete will go to help local charities and people in need, but the Lions believe it is just as important to bring people together in a fun and lighthearted social way to promote community spirit and goodwill.”
The usual Lions train will be giving rides around the park, and there will be refreshments at their tea tent and burger stall.
Frome Town Youth band will be performing on the band stand, and further entertainment will be provided by a Punch and Judy show, Frome’s Charisma Twirlers, and a dog training display.
Children’s activities on offer include face painting, children’s swing boats, bouncy castle, and much more. A number of local clubs and societies will also be taking part and promoting their causes.
