A LOCAL comedian will be performing his show ‘Drifting Towards Death’ at a pub in Frome next week.
Drift Snowbarger will be performing ‘Drifting towards Death; the funny and sad of aging and death’ at the Three Swans on Friday 28th October.
Drift’s latest show is a funny but thoughtful and touching journey through the ridiculous side of the aging and dying process, seen through his dad’s passage into old age, to death and beyond.
The death fixated conversations, the choices we have to make about our mortal remains, and the pull from beyond the grave.
After half a life time of trying not to be like his dad, Drift accepts that he is – and it is not a bad thing to be. Drift may at least, and at last, be able to get odd jobs done around the house.
Drift’s show takes place at the Upstairs Room, Three Swans, Frome, on Friday 28th October. Doors open 8pm for an 8.30pm start. There is no ticket price but contributions will be welcome.
