Graves Commission will be delivering a talk at Christ Church church in Frome on Wednesday 17th April at 7pm.
Peter John, churchwarden at Christ Church said, “We have over 20 war graves in our churchyard, and there are many others in Frome in the churchyards at Holy Trinity, St John`s, and also the Dissenters Cemetery on Vallis Road.
“The CWGC will be giving a talk on the valuable work that they do in maintaining war graves in Frome and all over the world. I am sure this will be of interest to people who may have a family connection to the local graves, or to those who are interested to hear more about the CWGC’s work generally. Entry to the talk is free but donations to the CWGC would be welcomed.”
The church will be open from 6.30pm and there will be a pre-talk bar available offering wine and soft drinks.
