FROME Friends of Palestine will welcome Mohammad Tamimi, director of Hebron International Resource Network (HIRN) to Trinity Hall for a talk titled Existence is Resistance.
The talk is taking place on Saturday 18th May at 7pm (doors open 6.30pm).
The Friends say, “We are delighted to welcome Mohammad Tamimi, who is visiting the UK from the West Bank. The extreme crisis in Gaza has understandably drawn most media attention over the last six months. But the situation for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank has also deteriorated severely, and we are seeing very little news of this.
“Mohammad will talk about the West Bank and how Palestinian grass-roots organisations are helping people there to survive all-out war.”
