The Inner Wheel Club of Frome’s new president, Yvonne Covill, is looking forward to her first official fundraising event, the Farmers Harvest Festival Service and Auction at the Standerwick Conference Centre on Thursday 8th October starting at 7.00pm.
Rotarian Hilary Daniel will be officiating at the service and the event will be held in aid of Alzheimer’s Society, a really worthwhile charity. As usual there will be a break between the service and the auction for people to enjoy a ploughman’s supper.
The members of the Inner Wheel invite everyone to contribute to the auction by bringing many goods such as unwanted gifts together with any jam, marmalade, fruit, vegetables, plants etc and of course not forgetting the lovely home made cakes that will be sold by Rotarian Dennis Barnard to raise much-needed funds for the charity.
