HEALTH Connections Mendip will be holding a Community connector training event at Trinity Church Hall on Wednesday 24th May, 10.30am-12.30pm.
Are you interested in finding out about what is available in your community? Would you be keen to pass this information on to people in your workplace, social group, friends, family and neighbours? Then become one a Community Connector.
Cheryl Stevens from Health Connections said, “Living and feeling better starts with a simple step; connecting. There is so much going on in your community that can support you with health and well being, many of these things are free or low cost, for example support groups, services run by local voluntary organisations, peer support groups and free exercise opportunities.
“The more people there are that know about the support that is available in the community, the more we can all support each other. Come along to our next fun and informative training session. Booking essential, free and open to anyone who is interested in this workshop.”
