FOOD bank charity Fair Frome is putting on a free community lunch later this month and everyone is invited.
The special event will be held at Trinity Church Hall from 12pm to 1.30pm on Saturday 22nd October.
A group of volunteers are organising a hot lunch for the community; everyone is welcome but places must be booked by Wednesday 12th October.
Wendy Miller-Williams, Fair Frome co-ordinator said, “We’re thrilled this lovely group of people have come forward to sponsor and organise this event.
“Community lunches are among the most worthwhile and valuable of our ongoing projects and offer so many wide-ranging benefits: they can help reduce isolation by introducing people to each other, offer opportunities to share healthy food and give an opportunity for local agencies to promote their range of services in a relaxed and social environment.”
